Why Money Is Easy For Some

You may worry if you'll have enough for your future or maybe you're concerned you won't have enough for today. Perhaps you're frustrated that you're just not further ahead monetarily. Money slips thru your fingers and you wonder if you'll ever get ahead. You may know other people who seem to have an easier time with money than you. And you may wonder why is it that making money and keeping money seems so easy for some, and yet so difficult for you?

I've been helping people who struggle with money for more than two decades and I've noticed they all have one thing in common. Let me describe it this way:

Picture a line where one end represents being very creative and the other end represents being very detailed and structured. I believe we all sit somewhere on this line.

If your nature sits closer to the creative end of the line you are more likely to choose professions that are more entrepreneurial in nature and you may have a tendency to have more difficulty with money but you'll have more fun with life.

The closer your nature sits to the structured end of the line the more likely you are to choose professions that offer some type of financial security such as a corporate profession or service profession rather than self-employed and the easier money will appear to be for you. The closer you are to the center of the line, the midpoint, the easier both money and life become.

Here's why - if a person is at the very structured/detailed end of the line, then although they will manage their money well, they may have difficulty thinking outside of the box. So while they may manage what money they have well, they are unable to create a flow of abundance and could live a very secure life which lacks the luster that spontaneity brings. If they learn to become more creative, then their nature will automatically move closer to the mid-point of the line and they will be able to create new possibilities for themselves and their financial, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Now if you sit closer to the creative end of the line then you will most likely have difficulty making or keeping money, you may even have difficulty bringing creative ideas to fruition. So while you may be fun-loving, spontaneous and have incredible foresight, you may find you struggle to pull these creative pieces together in a way that keeps you living in abundance. You may find that your life pattern is similar to riding a roller coaster where money comes and money goes. When you are able to pull more structure into your life then you'll find it easier to make money, take ownership of your money and keep money.

Where we are on this line depends on our habits, patterns and beliefs. Some of these have been inherited from family and others have been developed over time. We are more balanced individuals when we learn the skills that help us become more centered on this line. For creative-minded people, it means learning how to structure creative ideas. For the more detailed-minded people, it's a matter of learning techniques to help them think more creatively and outside the box.
